Amoghasiddhi Kadampa Buddhist Centre provides meditation classes and teachings in various parts of Norfolk, essex and Suffolk. Taught by lay and ordained Buddhist teachers, the meditation classes are very easy to understand and apply to our daily lives. The classes are suitiable for both beginners and more advanced meditation practitioners.

The purpose of meditation is to make our mind peaceful by familiarising our mind with positive and happy states. The more positive or virtuous our mind, the calmer and more peaceful it becomes.

Meditation is a simple method to improve the quality of our lives.Through following clear, practical instructions we can learn to let go of the causes of our pain and dissatisfaction and to gain the inner peace and clarity we seek.Meditating can help you experience inner peace and relax your body and mind, deal with challenges in a positive way and improve your relationships.

Day Courses

nnnbnnn

Day courses are a wonderful way to spend the weekend! Relax in the company of spiritual friends and enjoy the refreshing meditations and teachings on these special day courses. Amoghasiddhi Centre holds many day courses and empowerments throughout the year.

An empowerment is a special blessing ceremony where we make a close connection with an enlightened being. These blessings can help us draw closer to the Holy Beings, and ripen our own potential for pure enlightened qualities. These uplifting empowerments are open to everyone. The blessing ceremony consists of chanting, meditation, and guided visualizations. Afterwards, the commentaries provide an explanation of how we can maintain the special feeling from the empowerment, and use it to enrich our daily lives.
